Well, I am officially a stay at home mom. WOOOO HOOOO!!! I can't describe how happy I am. I am so grateful to my husband for making it possible and to my mother, Linda and Lynn for helping me get through the last weeks of school! I feel very blessed and very loved!

Brody is now 2 months old. He has changed so much. He smiles all the time. I LOVE it! We have been lucky enough to have family down to help me out while I finish up school. I am extremely grateful. My favorite nephew graduated on Friday. I can't believe how fast he has grown up. I am so proud of him. Matt had a blast at Indy and I went to my usual Memorial Day family reunion.

Matt's birthday was pretty uneventful. However, Courtney did make him a little painted elephant and a hand made card. That pretty much made his day.

Brody is getting fatter by the minute. He is a perfect baby. I love having a little boy and a little girl. They are such good kids and make it easy to be a mom. Matt takes care of me so I can take care of them. He is a great father and even better husband. Blah, blah, blah - Life is good!!! Christy and I took the girls to the zoo last week. We REALLY wanted to celebrate Earth Day right. Ha. Also, my niece Cailyn had a big volleyball tournament this weekend. She's incredible! They won and get to go to nationals in Florida.

The Start of School

Well we are all back to school. Courtney thinks she's a "big girl" because she goes to school like Mom and Dad. The first week was rough but we have started to settle down and get the hang of it. We were all sick last weekend which made it pretty interesting but everyone is on the mends. We are looking forward to a nice holiday weekend.

I aplogize for the slow postings. I should have been better but it seems that the endless summer goes faster than I thought. Anyway, we have been very busy this summer with vacations, birthdays, potty training, Tam's tech classes, Matt acting like Mr. Mom, and all the normal stuff. These are some pictures of Courtney (and us) we had taken in Owasso with the Becker clan. For those of you that like the videos I also included a NEW YORK video under this post, it is about 6 minutes. We had a great time in New York, saw a few ball games in the "last season" at Yankee and Met's stadium, few shows Phantom and Spamalot, and just general New York stuff. GO USA OLYMPICS!!!

You would think that in the summer we would have more time to keep our blog a little more up to date but alas it seems we are even busier. This is some pictures from Courtney's 2nd Birthday that we combined with a 4th of July BBQ. All the grandparents were in attendance and everyone seemed to have a great time. The weather was nice and hot but the misters and Jono's house were the big hit. Anyway, hopefully this post won't be the "most recent" for long and I have some more projects on tap. Courtney brought me this picture she made for Father's Day. It was fantastic, I played golf with my Dad and brother and actually got an unprovoked "I love you, Daddy" from Courtney on Monday. AWESOME! Definitely Daddy's Little Princess. Anyway, there is a short video that Courtney gave me under this so I hope you enjoy it. The last few months have been super busy. Tons of birthdays, trips, mother's day, and just normal life. Tamara finished school last Friday and and Matt finishes this Friday. We are very excited about having some summer time together. The rest of the pictures below are some from our "famous" BBQs and other events. The head wound pictures are not as bad as they look she just had an "ouie cut" on the back of her head so she got the full wrap from dad. She thought she looked pretty cool with the "big band-aid" Hope all is well and hopefully we will be a little better this summer.

The Wedding of Webb

Ashley and Meg's wedding was a great time. It was especially great for me because all my friends were there, their families, and my brother and his friends. (except for Ecky Eck and Kelli due to the expected arrival of Gabe...Congrats) It made for a fabulous party. Meg looked great, Ashley cleaned up nicely and everything went off without a hitch. Easter 08

Easter was fun as usual. Tam and I had just come off Spring Break 08 (woo woo). We went to the Beckers for egg dying, churching, and a little egg hunting. Courtney was very excited, mainly just to be outside and running around with her cousins. She also really enjoyed finding the eggs and them dropping them back out to find them again. It was a lot of fun and Courtney would take off after Mia (cousin) just yelling Mia...Mia...Mia, for no particular reason. Also, little slideshow with more pics.

Washington DC Trip

Our trip to Washington DC was awesome!!!! One of Tamara's best friends from high school is Big Time with Mrs. Bush so we got a great West Wing tour and an unexpected surprise on the South Lawn. We actually met The President and had a great picture, even got a little dialogue. We saw as many sites as humanly possible and had a overall great vacation. Good Friends, Good Food, Good Times. There is a little slideshow below and for those of you that want a little more theatre there is a video below that , it is about 9 mins. I'll try and get some Easter pics up this week.

Everyone is great. Courtney is a little jabber-box, she is working on all her new words and we enjoy watching her find new ways to communicate. We are super busy but we still find some time to spend with each other and make sure we see as many people as we can. Here are a couple of new pictures of our "Princess" from the last month or so. I apologize to the blogging world for my slow pace at which we update our own site. In the future we will try and be a little more frequent with our postings. Anyway, here are a few pics of our little angel. All is well at the Kincaid household, Matt is studying for his board exams and Tamara is juggling work, home, and motherhood like a champ. Courtney is keeping us very busy, she really enjoyed Thanksgiving (mainly because she was the star of her own show) and had developed an addiction to winnie the pooh. Her lasted big accomplishment is that she has started saying her own name, well "Cor-nee" but we count it anyway.

Back to School

We are back to school and we are getting busy. As a result our picture taking is down, but here are a few from the last month or two. Tam is enjoying her job, those kids keep her on her toes only to come home to Courtney who REALLY likes her attention. Matt is back to school and enjoying it, but is a little stressed this semester with boards coming up at the end. All are well and life is very exciting. Courtney's 1st Trip to the Zoo

We went to the Zoo this week and of course Courtney loved every minute of it. Mom and Dad were a little hot, but it didn't seem to bother the big C. Reese. She pointed at every animal we saw and did her favorite impression of the elephant. The video is about 2:30. Enjoy!!!

Courtney's 1st Birthday and Dedication WITH VIDEO

The day started off with her dedication at GeGe and Pa Pa's church in Owasso, after she got her Jesus time, it was on to Lolli's for her birthday celebration.Our little darling Courtney Reese had her first birthday party on Sunday July 1st (actual birthday 6/28) It was mostly a family affair but we had fun inspite. ha ha. Everyone was a huge help and made the whole day a lot of fun. The theme was... Alice in "One"derland....Courtney was great as usual and got all kinds of presents, she also had some help opening them from her cousin Mia whose birthday is coming up soon. Courtney wore a tiara as she is a princess, as well as a cute tu-tu. Everyone had a great time and Mom made the cake for the birthday, I was very proud of her and I think Courtney will appreciate what a great Mom she has. Congrats, Courtney. Mom and Dad love you very much. These are the pictures with video to follow.

Zac and Christin Wedding

Zac and Christin got married in Kansas City, the wedding was awesome everyone had a great time. Christin looked great and Zac didn't mess up any of his lines. We did have a great time Courtney was great, a little fussy, but good. The minister was great but kept messing up everyone's name in the rehersal, but everything went smoothing in the show. We also went to a royals game the next day, it was Courtney's first game and she loved it. Royals won 17-6. The official photo's from the wedding are on the other links (password kincaid).

Summer Plans

We are planning to be in Tulsa this summer (almost 8 weeks) starting with Zac and Christen's wedding. Matt will be working in dad's office this summer which should be great experience and everybody else is happy because they get a heavy dose of big Courtney Reese! It should be a great summer with lots of activities: weddings, vacations, anniversary, somebodies 1st Birthday (that ought to be a show), dentistry, and lots of quality time. Should be a great summer we are looking forward to it.
